Getting Started with Services

Getting Started with WX-ONE Services

How an initial enquiry becomes an ongoing managed-services engagement — from assessment to continuous operations.

Steps for WX1 services

1

Step 1: Discovery and Assessment

Everything starts with a no-obligation conversation with our experts. Together we clarify your goals, the scope of the environment to be managed, and any compliance requirements.

We capture the essentials:

  • the number and type of virtual machines and Kubernetes clusters in scope
  • existing security and compliance obligations for your industry
  • the level of service you need (maintenance, security advisory, cluster management)

Based on this, we recommend which building blocks from our General and Rancher offerings fit your needs.

2

Step 2: Proposal and Onboarding

After the assessment you receive a transparent proposal billed monthly, with no hidden costs.

Once the engagement is agreed, we set up secure access to your systems, define responsibilities, and establish communication paths and escalation levels. We document the current state of your environment so that every later change remains fully traceable.

3

Step 3: Transition to Managed Operations

Our team then takes over day-to-day operations. Depending on the agreement, this includes:

  • patch management and health checks for your VMs
  • hardening, continuous monitoring, and impact analysis of vulnerabilities
  • setup, updates, and operation of your Rancher and downstream clusters

All services are delivered from data centers in Germany — GDPR-compliant and certified to ISO 27001:2022.

4

Step 4: Support, Reporting, and Optimization

Throughout the engagement we remain your dedicated point of contact. You receive regular insight into system health, actions taken, and open recommendations.

In joint reviews we discuss optimization opportunities, plan upcoming changes, and adjust the scope as you grow. This keeps your infrastructure current, secure, and efficient over the long term.
